The Magic Lantern Afghan is a pattern created by Janie Crowfoot, a well-known and accomplished designer. It is perfect for using up those odds and ends of yarn most crafters have collected over the years, but can also be worked in a color palette of your own choosing. If you can work a granny square, this pattern will be easy for you, and much of the fun of putting the blocks together is deciding which colors to pair. If you aren’t an accomplished crocheter, we’ll provide the help to get you there. You won’t complete the whole afghan in a weekend, but by the end of Sunday, you will be comfortable enough to continue on your own.
Materials Fee:None, if you bring your own yarn scraps. Packages of mini-skeins of sport-weight yarn will be available for purchase.
