Fletcher Farm School for the Arts and Crafts is the oldest residential Arts & Crafts school in Vermont. It is owned and operated by the Society of Vermont Artists and Craftsmen, Inc. a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization since it's inception in 1947. In 2017, we celebrate our 70th anniversary. The Society of Vermont Artists and Craftsmen invites you to join or renew your membership in the Society. Membership will give you a sense of pride and ownership in the Society. The dues that are paid by members support the Society and contribute to continuation of the Fletcher Farm School for the Arts and Crafts. AS A MEMBER YOU WILL RECEIVE: Member tuition discounts of $10 for all classes. All members are automatically mailed our Arts & Crafts catalogs. If dues are paid by Dec 31, 2016 a 25% discount on 2 days of tuition is given for any one class in 2017. A discount on booth space at each of our two (2) annual Arts & Crafts Festivals. Opportunity for participation in our summer and Christmas Craft & Gift Shoppes. All news updates sent by mail and email about The Society of Vermont Artists and Craftsmen. Invitation to the annual Membership Meeting of the Society, held each spring. You have a voting membership to help direct the course of the Society. OBJECTIVES OF THE SOCIETY OF VERMONT ARTISTS AND CRAFTSMEN To operate Fletcher Farm School for the Arts & Crafts, which provides sound instruction under the expert guidance of some of the country's leading arts and crafts instructors. To provide an outlet (The Society of Vermont Artists and Craftsmen Craft & Gift Shoppe) for the sale of members' artwork and handicrafts. To hold annual Arts & Crafts Festivals with participation by both member and non-member craftsmen. We are also seeking volunteers. Please let us know if you'd like to volunteer for any of our committees. We always have a great time participating in these activities and leave with a sense of accomplishment.
