Students will experience a variety of hand building techniques such as coiling, forming clay slabs, draping, incising and embossing as well as learning to throw on the wheel and footing in order to complete a number of projects to be bisque fired. Additional Kiln firing fee . This class does not include glazing and any other decorative finishes. Glazing and other surface applications will be taught in the Ceramic Glazing and Embellishments class the following week as stated in the course description sent to you.
Materials Fee: $30.00 plus kiln firing fee
About the Instructor:
Carole Carr is a working artist and teacher for more then 30 years , and looks forward to sharing many of her experiences and knowledge. She is currently working at Georgian Court University and Lavallette Elementary School ranging from adults to children. She brings a great deal of enthusiasm to her teaching to all levels of learning in the wonderful artistic environment Fletcher Farm provides.
