Join Sande and her creativity, enthusiasm and fine instruction to create your own Primitive Village on decorative wood items. Have fun painting a one of a kind floor or table lamp, background designed by you and finished with details using Donna Bernardo Stencils, 0r design your own lamp to match your decor. Either way your imaginaion gets a workout and you create a fully operable lamp. You can also chose from other projects as well: floor cloths, headboards, your cabinet doors and more! You'll have fun designing background and details around stencils by Donna Bernardo. Let your imagination fly free and be your own “Town Planner”, creating the town of your dreams. Hands on guidance will be provided for painting at your own speed. This technique is easy to learn and so satisfying! Students will go home with many finished, one of a kind primitive art in the style of Rufus Porter and others.

About the Instructor:
Sande Snyder is a Syracuse Univ. graduate with a BS in education. She has studied decorative painting with Lorraine McGowan, CDA, for the past six years and has taken several courses with Donna Bernardo. She was a member of Donna's class which painted the large mural in the Meadowview Room at Fletcher Farm School.
