Dates:  June 28-30, 2017

Class Times: Wed-Thurs 9am-5pm; Fri 9am-2:30pm

Instructor:  Evelyn Gant

Open Studio:  Wed-Thurs 7-9pm

Many of you might have seen your grandmother or Aunts sitting by the hours tatting with a small devise called a shuttle. Many of you might have even been shown how do it without success. Evelyn will slow the process down and take the mystery out of making double stitches, rings and chains and soon you will be enjoying this portable craft too. Students will have to be ambidextrous for total success. Those students who already know the basics can move on and learn other techniques like split rings, split chains, self closing mock rings and lock stitch. Students will also explore the fun of tatting with beads and buttons.

Material Cost:  $15
