This is a beginner class teaching the basic stitches and techniques of bobbin lace with the intention of giving students the knowledge and practice needed to be able to continue making lace on their own. To a 16th Century Monarch, handcrafted lace was once sported as the ultimate status symbol. Just the handling of the multi-purpose of bobbins and the firmly stuffed pillow used to make bobbin lace brings back thoughts of elegance and grandeur.
Material Cost: $20
