This course is offered to meet the needs of a variety of students. A background in metals or Silver Fabrication 1 is strongly recommended. Students will design and craft one-of-a-kind jewelry creations. As in Fabrication 1, soldering, sawing and forming are taught and used to create these works. A very supportive and calm environment will prevail in the classroom to assure the enjoyment of your study. There is a $20 lab fee for consumables.

About the Instructor:Debi Orton is an assistant instructor for our Silversmithing workshops. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Society of Vermont Artists and Craftsmen. Debi actively makes and sells beautiful silver jewelry, in addition to pursuing her passions for fiber arts.
