Beads, buttons, jewelry elements—the possibilities are endless once you’ve mastered this easy technique. No color mixing required! Using polymer clay-- an easy-to-use, oven-cured modeling medium-- we’ll texture our clay shapes, apply a reflective acrylic coating and then add layers of brilliant color with a transparent liquid finish, producing a stained-glass appearance. Beginning to advanced students from any discipline-- mixed media, journaling, painting or jewelry arts--can benefit from this class. Just bring your curiosity and a well-developed artist's or crafting skill-set. The instructor’s extensive collection of both organic and traditional texture plates will be available, as well as all clay, paints and enamel-effect colors. All curing is done in a simple toaster oven—no open flames or high temperature required for these stunning enamel effects. Coaching with color choices will be provided and you’ll come away with the confidence and skills to tackle projects on your own.

Material Cost:  $25
