About the Instructor:
Susan Damone Balch is an accomplished quilter, fly fisher, and teacher. She discovered the art of quilting in 1978. Fly fishing, nature, and other extensive fabric collection provide the inspiration for Susan's original art quilts. She delights in using curves and machine techniques to create her stylized pieced pictorials. As a divergence, she also creates intuitive abstract pieces. Many of her quilts have been exhibited and won awards throughout the country.
