Open Studio:  Wed-Thurs 7-9pm

Learn the basics of CAD Software, 3D Printing and 3D Scanning, Design and make 3D models of your choice. We will cover: Digital applications for preparing a design. Scanning a 3D model you would like to replicate. Practical uses for 3D design in art applications. Multi-material projects. Various equipment and materials that can be utilized for specific projects. How metal 3D printers work and where to access them. Using a Cricut Maker with a 3D printer. Selling your 3D models and CAD files online.  Projects for Math, Science and Art teachers. 3D Printers, Scanners and Software will be provided. Please bring your own laptop, mobile phone and imagination. This class will require the internet and knowledge of how to use a computer.

About the Instructor:

Janalyn Peppel is a Graphic Designer and 3D Enthusiast. She has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida with over 20 years experience owning and operating her own manufacturing business. Janalyn has been teaching 3D Printing and Design to all ages and skill levels for the past 5 years. She enjoys sharing 3D technology with artists to enhance their creative process.
