This is the perfect class to repurpose and recycle those yard sale, flea market, thrift Store and attic finds. Learn the basic techniques of designing, cutting adherring, grouting and sealing your own mosaic treasures. Students should bring items such as small stools,tables,chairsshelf,old windows (glass intact),trays, wooden boxes, claypots, bowling balls, or anything metal to mosiac. Also plates, pieces of bric brac, tiles, or anything you want to ass to your piece. Instructor will also have items available for purchase. Students will be able to complete multiple small projects or a large one during this class.

About the Instructor:
Phyllis Gagnon has been creating in different mediums and sharing those with students for numerous years. She has a BS in Education from Keene State College and lives in Claremont, NH. She has taught in public and private schools, in her own studio and at Fletcher Farm School. This summer she will be sharing her knowledge and creativity working with mosaics. In Addition Phyllis is an Oxford Certified Instructor in Punch Needle Rug Hooking, and will be teaching classes in rug hooking at Fletcher Farm School. Phyllis is currently on the Board of The Society of Vermont Artists and Craftsmen’s Inc, as The Fletcher Farm Craft and Gift Shoppe Chairman.
