Y10 - Using Technology to Make Art - Aug 21, 2018

Learn the basics of 3D Software, 3D Printing and 3D Scanning to make new art forms. Did you know 3D Technology can be used to make figurines, movie props, cosplay costumes and minecraft elements? Custom tools can be designed and 3D printed quickly. Graphic designers can personalize artwork prototypes in 3D. You can even 3D scan full figure models for reproduction. This class will explore multiple uses of 3D applications for your specific interest. 3D Printers, Scanners and Software will be provided. Please bring your own laptop, mobile device and imagination. This class will require the internet and prior use of a computer. This class is for students 8-17 years old. Students under the age of 10 may need a parent to attend.

About the Instructor:

Janalyn Peppel is a Graphic Designer and 3D Enthusiast. She has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida with over 20 years experience owning and operating her own manufacturing business. Janalyn has been teaching 3D Printing and Design to all ages and skill levels for the past 5 years. She enjoys sharing 3D technology with artists to enhance their creative process.
