F17 - Felted Soaps - October 6, 2019

Dates:  October 6, 2019

Class Times: Saturday 9am-4pm

Instructor:  Cheryl Leiner

Open Studio:  None

Make colorful felted soaps – a soap and a washcloth in one! Felted soap is simply soap wrapped in wool that has been matted together. It is slightly exfoliating, but is still as soft as a washcloth. We will wrap all-natural soap in colorful layers of wool roving. This allows for endless creative designs. The wool fiber is carefully felted over the soap using hot water and forms a beautifully colored washcloth. Felting soap makes it last longer, and wool has antimicrobial properties!

Material Cost:  $20

About the Instructor:
