The atmosphere on our campus is casual. Our classes are intended to be an intensive, but relaxing experience. Class sizes are kept deliberately small so that each student receives individual attention. Classes run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for adults and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for children.

If required, you will receive a supply list with your class confirmation. The materials fee covers any supplies or tools that your instructor provides for your use in class, and is paid directly to the instructor at the beginning of class. The materials fee is shown along with the tuition fee in our brochure and on our website.

Lodging on Campus

We have a variety of rooms available on campus from June 1 through August 31.

  • There are two “suites”, which are adjoining rooms that share a bathroom. One bedroom has a twin bed and a reading nook with an easy chair. The other bedroom has two twin beds. These rooms are suitable for up to 3 individuals. A full suite is $135/night.
  • If available, you can take the single room of a suite (one twin bed, reading nook, shared bathroom) for $85/night.
  • If available, you can take one of these double rooms (shared bathroom) as an individual guest. The price is $75/night.
  • We have a number of rooms with two twin beds which share a bathroom with the adjoining double room. The cost for these rooms is $60/individual/night.

We do not supply towels or washcloths, so bring those with you. You will need an alarm clock, if you are not an early riser. Weather here is changeable. Mornings and evenings are chilly, so bring along a sweater or light jacket. An umbrella would be useful as well.

There are no televisions or telephones in the room. Regrettably, cellular service is spotty throughout Vermont, including our campus. Each room has at least one working fan.

Our Dining Hall has a television, basic cable, and a Blu-Ray DVD player, and is available for guests and instructors in the evening. We also have a charcoal grill available for your use after classes have ended for the day.

A continental breakfast is provided with lodging. We do offer to order lunch for students ($12) and will do our best to make sure it is ready by noon. Students are on their own for dinner. There are a number of local places to buy lunch. We also have a charcoal grill available for your use after classes have ended for the day.

Off-Campus Lodging

If you prefer less rustic lodging, there are several local establishments we can recommend. Please contact the school’s office (802) 228-8770 for more information.
