Botanical printmaking is printing on different natural fibers using various types of plant materials and steaming them. We’ll collect some plant materials on the FFS campus (you can bring your own from home, too) and create different designs on various types of fabrics. Some results will be predictable and some will not. But that’s the fun of this whole process. Learning this process is a good way to preserve and protect the plants that surround us.
