Dates:  April 27-28, 2019

Class Times: Sat 9am-4pm; Sun 9am-4pm

Instructor:  Phyllis Gagnon

Open Studio:  None

Rug hooking is like painting with wool. This much loved craft offers an endless number of creative opportunities. If you’ve always wanted to learn to make a hooked rug, here is a chance to try your hand at a small project to see how you like it. You will make a beautiful 12’ piece that may be used as a wall hanging, table top decoration, or small chair pad. By doing this you will learn everything necessary to hook larger rugs. We will be using the Oxford Punch Needle. The tool is used to punch wool rug yarn through a cotton monk’s cloth backing to form looped pile. No experience is necessary.

Material Cost:  $50
