Class Description:

In this course students will learn how to plan a relief carving through fundamentals of drawing for linocut design, how to properly use linocut carving tools safely, and how to create a block print. Each participant will complete 1 linocut print and learn how to ink their block properly and press their image without the use of a press. This is a great class for those interested in making their own cards, printing on fabric, or interested in exploring the art of printmaking without the requirements of a press.
