Dates: September 7, 14, 21, 2019
Class Times: Saturdays, 9:00 - 12:00
Instructor: Anne Corbett Moore
Open Studio: None
This workshop leads participants to find their personal, unique voice and vision in painting. Both experienced professionals and beginners will see amazing results in only one three-hour session and will produce paintings they will be proud to frame and exhibit. No prior painting or drawing experience is necessary.
The magic of process painting comes from using very simple and inexpensive materials, and being given the assurance one can work without fear of criticism from others, including the teacher. An important part of the class is that we do not copy anything, nor are we trying to put a vision in our head down on paper. We simply allow the brush to begin moving where it wants to go. We pick colors simply because they are drawing us to them. This freedom allows the inner painter to surface.
Material Cost: $10
