This course is designed to teach basic methods of handcrafting jewelry from sterling silver. Sketchbook designs are employed to help students reach their desired goals. Individualized and assisted techniques are used to assure the success of each student. Sawing, soldering and filing are the procedures used to create rings, chains, bracelets, pendants and earrings. A relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere in the classroom makes this course fun. This is the standard silver fabrication course that is offered at an academic level. A $20.00 lab fee per student is required to cover the cost of consumables, in addition to the material fee.
NOTE: Tuition includes a $25 one-time registration fee. If you have already paid the fee, it will be deducted from your total before your card is charged.
