Registration Deadline: January 19, 2022
For this workshop, participants will supply their own equipment and supplies and pay $50 per day. If you will be registering for more than one day, please adjust the quantity in your cart to indicate the number of days you will be attending.
This is an opportunity to have 2-3 days of uninterrupted studio time in a spacious, creative, and supportive setting. This workshop is designed for you to work on your own project(s). Susan Damone Balch will be facilitating the group and assisting as needed, but no specific instruction will be provided. Maybe you would like extra space to finish a project, or would appreciate the opportunity to work beside other quilters, or with a small group of quilting friends. Irons and ironing boards, cutting tables, and design boards will be provided. Bring all the other supplies you will need for your specific project(s).
Note: If you have a group of 3 or more quilting buddies that are interested in “Quilt Camp” at Fletcher Farm School, but these dates do not work for you, please inquire about other possible dates.
Susan Damone Balch is an accomplished quilter, fly fisher and teacher. She has been quilting since 1978 and has exhibited her work and won awards throughout the country. Fly fishing, nature, and her extensive fabric collection provide the inspiration for Susan’s original art quilts. Susan teaches machine techniques such as piecing, applique, and quilting. Whether you are a traditional quilter or looking to push yourself to work more intuitively, Susan can guide you through the process. You can see Susan’s work at www.fishnquilt.com.
