Create your own mosaic-framed mirror. Susan will guide participants on how to create a good mosaic design, using color and composition for an outstanding finished mosaic art piece. Students will be given a 12”x12” wooden base with a 6”x6” beveled mirror adhered to the center of the base and pre-cut mosaic tile, mirror tile and other found object pieces to cover the area outside the mirror. All mosaic tiles will be cemented on the wooden backer by the end of Day 1, as the pieces will need to dry overnight.
