Chip carving is a unique form of wood carving, which is fun and easy to learn. Most cuts are made with a single knife. No clamps or noisy mallets are needed. You will learn how to carve borders, grids, rosettes, numbers, and letters. You’ll also learn sharpening, patterning, finishing, and much more. Tools are provided by the instructor and may be purchased from her, if desired. Video equipment will be used, which will make social distancing possible.
The instructor will apply patterns and prepare the wood for carving. Other supplies and tools are available for purchase. Cash or check only will be accepted.
NOTE: Tuition includes a $25 one-time registration fee. If you have already paid the fee, it will be deducted from your total before your card is charged.
