Chip carving is a unique form of wood carving, which is fun and easy to learn. Most cuts are made with a single knife. No clamps or noisy mallets are needed. You will learn how to carve borders, grids, rosettes, numbers, and letters. You’ll also learn sharpening, patterning, finishing, and much more. Tools are provided by the instructor and may be purchased from her, if desired.
Materials Cost: $10 per patterned board for use in the class. The instructor will apply patterns and prepare the wood for carving, and will supply all tools. Other supplies and tools are available for purchase. Cash or check only will be accepted.
NOTE: Tuition includes one-time $5 registration fee. If you have already paid the fee, it will be removed from your total before we charge your card.
