Class Description:

Flash fiction is the art of telling complete stories in short form. Learn to layer details to tell a full story in 3 pages or less. We’ll explore techniques used in published stories and discuss the many places to submit flash fiction. On day two we’ll read each other’s work and revise to reach a finished form.

Instructor Biography:

Linda Peckel has a BA in Creative Writing and Journalism from Boston University, a certificate in Film from NYU, and an MFA from Western Connecticut State University. She has taught Creative Writing and Journalism at the latter for 3 years. She has written hundreds of articles on art and science, 3 screenplays and recently completed a thriller novel.
